Are available on 230V and 110V Are certified CE. The infrared panel can be placed either on the wall or ceiling or with floor support. Can be used as main heating or as integration existing heating. It can be mounted horizontally or vertically depending on the need and the space available. It’s possible install the panel in the bathroom as towel rail inserting one or more chrome bars. This heating solution has a surrender near 100% because, all the electricity used is converted into heat and emitted into the room. The Biored product are: Alluminum, black glass, white glass or mirror , are equipped with double thermal glass and are made to order in a variety of colors. The panel reach 70 ° / 75 ° and in case of contact there is no risk of burns. There are different colors including the standard, the special and digital prints that we propose. HOW EFFICIENT ARE THEY? Infrared panels are 100% efficient, converting all of the electrical energy directly into heat. However, this does not mean that they are cheaper to run than other methods of heating. A gas central heating solution is still significantly cheaper to run than heating your house using electricity – the reason being that gas is much cheaper than electricity per kilowatt hour. We therefore recommend using infrared panels for additional heating or in difficult to heat areas of the home or so-called ‘cold-spots’. WHERE SHOULD THESE PANELS BE INSTALLED? Ideally they are fitted on the ceiling, so that they warm up the floor below and then the heat radiates back up into the room, however they still work excellently when installed on walls.   This is different to traditional radiators or electric fan heaters, which are normally situated on the floor. These traditional forms of heater take advantage of convection heating, which is when the air is heated and moves around the room – the issue with this type of heating is that if a cold draught comes through a room it strips all the heat from the air. Infrared panels are therefore an ideal heating solution if you are opting to heat the home using electricity. They can be used in extensions, bathrooms and exposed areas of the house that need additional heating. IS INFRARED RADIATION SAFE? Yes – 100% safe Infrared radiation is the reason you feel the warmth of the sun on your face even in the midst of winter. The radiation emitted is on the safe end of the electromagnetic spectrum, (next to the red bit of visible light). As the unit is situated on the ceiling it can be less dangerous for children than a burning hot radiator in an easy to reach place. DO YOU NEED BUILT IN THERMOSTATS? You can purchase infrared heating panels with built in thermostats, however it is not something we recommend since if you have two panels in a room they will interfere with one another. It is much better to get a wireless thermostat, which should be situated on a wall adjacent to the panel. WHAT TYPES OF PANEL ARE THERE AND WHAT DO I NEED? They come in a range of sizes and styles. The size required will depend a little on how well insulated the room is and of course the size of the room. You can get Mirror, glass and carbon fibre effect panels. Mould tends to be the result of a build up of damp – therefore by using infrared panels directed at walls that have damp, they will dry out and this will prevent the spread of mould. In addition since these panels don’t heat spaces using convections, allergens won’t be circulated around the room – making it more suitable for sufferers of asthma and other respiratory diseases.

Heat emanating from the sun, fire, radiator and even from the heated asphalt is infrared heat. Any body emits infrared radiation. Usually it’s not noticed because it’s not so strong and visible as the sunlight. Greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, especially water vapors, store some of infrared radiation, making life possible on earth. Clouds also captures some of this radiation. Air cools so fast in a night without rain, because of the lack of humidity and clouds and therefore air loses a large amount of infrared radiation into space. Every day we get in touch with this type of infrared radiation as heat. Long wavelength infrared is part of the light emanating from the sun and is not visible to the naked eye, but is felt as heat when it touches the skin. Approximately 3% of solar energy is ultraviolet and short wavelength, 50% is visible component and has average wavelength and 47% of the total energy is long wavelength infrared. Only infrared wavelength supplies Earth’s thermal energy. Infrared radiation heats the body through a process called conversion. By converting heat long wavelength infrared can penetrate organic substances such as human body without heating the surrounding air. You can see a similar effect on cloudy days: when the clouds cover the sun, the body immediately feels a drop in temperature, although ambient air temperature has not been modified yet. Such clouds block the sun’s infrared radiation, which heat up the body. Infrared heating panels, thermal plasmas are a cheaper way of heating than traditional heating systems. Did you know: People can not see infrared light, but there are animals like snakes that have sensors able to make an image based on infrared light. With this ability snakes can detect warm-blooded animals even in the dark.

Since prehistoric times, man lived in the caves around a fire to warm, joining the continuing quest to improve the comfort of the environment. Today there are many methods for maintaining high or low temperatures in buildings, based on fundamental laws of physics of heat transfer from a source to a selected location. In buildings, the heat can be transmitted or transferred by convection or radiation. The advantages of hot air systems are a central heat source and the flexibility to direct warm air exactly where desired. Also, such equipment can be easily incorporated in the building’s system. Some disadvantages are: noise, stratification, circulation dust and operation cost, especially in large buildings. Infrared heat solve most of these deficiencies. Heating by infrared heating panels is a futuristic, innovative and economical in terms of energy consumption. Such a system with multiple zones can be created very easily, with a separate thermostat in each room. This can provide significant energy savings by allowing only inhabited areas to be heated, but also because it provides a high thermal comfort at lower air temperatures. Radiant panels are recommended for modernization and restoration activities. Because these panels do not have moving parts such as fans or compressors, they are very quiet and do not require maintenance. It requires no furnace, filters, blowers, pipes or fuel of any kind. Hot air rises. The result is that in a large building, the optimum temperature is at the person level, but very hot near the ceiling. Increased temperature at ceiling level compared to the optimum temperature increases heat loss through the ceiling and likewise the fuel consumption. Large buildings with large door openings raise problems when using traditional heating systems. When the doors are open, most of the indoor air is cleared away. To restore the desired temperature, indoor air must be reheated and then headed down by currents of air power. Radiant heat offer people comfort at low air temperatures, thus realizing savings in comparison with fuel usage. In large buildings such as warehouses, where large doors are common, using infrared heating panels provides a rapid heat recovery and thus less wasted fuel. When infrared rays touch a surface, energy is released in the form of heat. The shorter the wave lengths, the greater the energy content of the radiation. Infrared radiation consists of electromagnetic waves with a length of 0.75 to 1000 �m. When infrared rays fall onto a surface, the radiation energy is absorbed by surface atoms irrespective of the air temperature. Infrared radiation is a natural and important source of heat transferal. The sun produces an enormous amount of energy through nuclear fission. The sun radiates this energy in various wavelengths including the form of ultra-violet rays, visible light and infrared radiation. After a journey through space of approximately 8 minutes at a speed of 1,080,000,000 km/h, the sun’s rays reach the earth’s surface. During the day, the earth’s surface is heated by the infrared part of the sun’s rays. At night, the earth cools off again by releasing the heat in the form of infrared radiation. This is a natural process which is not harmful to humans. In theory, every object with a temperature over the absolute zero point radiates heat rays. The intensity of the radiation increases as the vibration of the atoms in the object increases. The Infrared heating panels operate in the save and healthy FAR infrared wavelength of around 8-10 Micron also know as biogenetic infrared. Without charge in the heater people are forced to use alternative, expensive to run heating as a temporary solution. Yet having taken in to account all the above, night storage heaters are the cheapest to run heating system to run out of the top three…… until now. Infrared energy is the type of pure radiation which is absorbed by objects without having any physical contact in the first place with the source of heat or with the air within the objects and the source. Infrared waves are the ones which lie within the visible light and microwaves of the electromagnetic spectrum. The best example of infrared heating is the sun. The sun produces infrared radiation and these invisible rays are converted into heat when they are absorbed by objects (fixed or non-fixed) –having traveled through cold and dark space. Apart from the sun, infrared is the heat which we normally feel from fire, or even a warm sidewalk which absorbed the infrared warm waves. Have you ever thought why you feel cold in the winter even though it has 17 oC and in the summer you feel warm with the same temperature? This happens because the infrared radiation heats the objects and not the air. The heat is absorbed by the objects and is released towards our bodies. Many people immediately think that radiation is harmful for humans but there is beneficial radiation apart from the dangerous one. Infrared Radiation works similarly to the sun rays but without the harmful UV rays for the skin. It is not ultraviolet (this causes sunburns) or atomic (nuclear weapon) radiation. Infrared Radiation is the type of energy which heats an object or a person and not the air within a room. Even our bodies radiate infrared energy out through the skin at around 3 ~ 50 microns. How harmful can this be? In addition, it does not emit any gasses to the environment or make the air dusty and stuffy. Your walls dry out completely and cold spots can be reduced significantly. Moreover, any mold growth is prevented. In contrary to what someone may first think, Infrared Radiation is even healthier than any other conventional heater since it has been proved that it has many health benefits when used -among others, for medical purposes such as Passive Cardiovascular Conditioning Effect, Outstanding Caloric Consumption and Weight Control, Musculoskeletal Cases, Coronary Artery Disease, Arteriosclerosis and Hypertension. They operate in a completely different way. An infrared heating panel does not heat the air but directly warms the persons and the objects which are inside the room. This makes the infrared heating panel more efficient because the heat is immediately absorbed by everyone and everything within the heating range without any heating energy loss in the process. Just because of that, the persons within the range feel the warmth even if winds come inside the room from an open window. Compared to a conventional heater which makes the air stuffy, an infrared heating panel keeps the air clean and comfortable without mixing the air with dust. Your walls remain dry and any mold growth is prevented as well as there is reduction of cold spots within the room.
